About the Role
Australian Food & Fibre is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team at Warren Gin, located in Warren, NSW. This permanent position plays an important role in maintaining and improving electrical systems that support our ginning operations.
Working closely with the Electrical Manager and broader operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining electrical installations, assisting with upgrades and projects, and ensuring reliable plant performance during peak production periods.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and plant equipment.
Carrying out electrical repairs, installations, and upgrades in line with Australian Standards.
Supporting the Electrical Manager with project planning and electrical works across the site.
Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Responding to breakdowns and faults to minimise operational downtime.
Maintaining accurate maintenance and service records.
Supporting apprentices and less experienced team members where required.
Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture across all electrical work.
During peak ginning and harvest periods, some after-hours support may be required to ensure operational continuity.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
A current NSW Electrical Licence.
Experience performing maintenance and installation work in an industrial environment.
Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
A current driver’s licence.
Experience in industrial electrical work, agricultural operations, or processing facilities will be highly regarded.
