About the role
Australian Food & Fibre is seeking a reliable and proactive Yard Supervisor to join our team at AFF - Warren Gin.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the module yard and equipment to a high standard. Working as part of a committed team, you’ll help ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance in daily operations – whether during the ginning season or in the off-season.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with practical skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for operational tasks in an essential role within our AFF cotton ginning team.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting and recording module yard checklists.
Performing fire audits on all fire equipment.
Keeping gin yard and weighbridge clean and operational.
Training and supervising machinery operators to ensure safe and effective operation.
Working closely with the weighbridge team.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on role and takes pride in operations running smoothly and safely. With excellent communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, you bring a can-do attitude and a solid understanding of day-to-day yard operations. You’ll also have basic mechanical and computer skills, a current driver’s licence, and ideally some experience operating or supervising machinery in a similar role.
